About Diane Fraser
Diane Fraser’s fascination with words started when she did her first crossword puzzle and realized all the letters and words fit together to create something bigger than themselves.
She started working with words professionally at The Bank of California, writing everything from human resources policies to employee and marketing communications, advertising and annual reports. As a principal in The Communication Center she learned the power of matching words with pictures in videos and the art of project management. By the time Diane founded DEF Communications in 1995, she embraced website writing as a new way to bring clients’ stories to life.
Diane holds a bachelor’s degree in French (a whole different language of words!) and a law degree.
She has served her professional community as president of the San Francisco chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators and on the IABC Pacific Plains Region board.
